Privacy Policy

• Account Information: Email address, account identifier, available name or profile details, authentication records, preferences and legal-agreement records. Referral features also store referral codes, account identifiers, email addresses and referral activity.
• Creative Content: Prompts, captions, selected images, generated results, saved memes, favorites and other content you submit or save. AI and cloud-saving features send the inputs needed for those functions off your device; they are not limited to Wall of Fame submissions.
• Community and Support: Display names, account-linked submissions, votes, reports, feedback and support messages. Public Wall of Fame submissions are not anonymous to the operator: ownership and voting records are linked to accounts.
• Technical and Operational Data: IP addresses, browser/device information, authentication activity, error reports and account-linked quota or abuse-prevention records may be processed by the app and its providers. Optional feature-click analytics and signed-in navigation logging have been removed from the app.
• Payments: Stripe handles web payment details; Google Play handles Android payment details. The app and its billing services process account links, customer or purchase references, selected plans, entitlement status and subscription lifecycle information. We do not store full payment card numbers or Google account passwords.
• Local Storage and Similar Technologies: Authentication/session information, preferences, local drafts, uploaded custom fonts, selected fonts, referral information and consent records may be stored on your device. The sign-up birth-date screen remembers only the 18+ eligibility confirmation in this browser, as explained below.

We do not request precise GPS location for the features described here. Network providers still receive IP addresses, which can reveal approximate location. The app does not include an advertising-sale or cross-context targeted-advertising feature; service processing and public sharing are described below.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features (including AI generation and Wall of Fame voting).
• To process Pro subscriptions via Stripe (web) or Google Play Billing (Android).
• To detect abuse, enforce our Terms, and ensure security.
• To provide account support, manage referrals and usage allowances, and diagnose operational errors.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. Providers may have independent obligations and their own privacy policies; using a provider does not mean all processing is anonymous.

Current gallery-saving, GIF-sharing and some generated-media flows use publicly accessible file URLs. The gallery record may be restricted to your account while the underlying file remains available to anyone who has its URL, without signing in. Do not use these flows for confidential images, identity documents or sensitive personal information.

Wall of Fame submissions, shared-library items and content you deliberately share are intended for public display. People who receive or view shared content may download it or retain copies. Local editing and downloading do not by themselves publish an image, but choosing cloud saving, AI processing or sharing may transmit content.

If you use our app on Android, the following applies:

• Android store subscriptions use Google Play Billing to process your payment method. The app and its billing services still handle account-linked purchase and subscription information; they do not receive your full payment card number from Google Play.
• Information collected by Google in connection with your purchase (e.g., Google account identifier, purchase token, transaction ID, subscription status) is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Google Play Terms of Service.
• The native purchase flow uses Natively and RevenueCat to link purchases to your app account, including your user ID and email. Purchase tokens or references, subscription state and expiry information may be used to verify and manage Pro access.
• To manage, cancel, or get a refund for a Google Play subscription, visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions or contact Google Play Support.
• We do not share any data obtained from Google Play with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Depending on the law applicable to your information and our business, California residents may have the following rights:

• Right to Know: Request details about the personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal exceptions).
• Right to Opt-Out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share your data for targeted advertising).
• Right to Correct inaccurate information.
• Right to Limit Use of sensitive personal information (we collect very little).

To exercise these rights, email support@scarlet-lux-machine.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within the time required by law and verify your identity as needed. You may also manage certain preferences in your account settings.

Retention depends on the type of record and provider. Saved account content remains until removed through the app or a deletion request is completed; support, security, referral and payment records may need separate review or retention for operational or legal reasons. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period for all provider records.

Deleting an account or a gallery record does not necessarily delete its underlying publicly hosted file, copies others have saved, backups or provider records. Use the account-deletion page or contact us for a deletion request, including any hosted file links you want reviewed; we will explain applicable limits and exceptions.

Our operator is based in the United States. The services described above may process information in the United States and other countries where their infrastructure operates, and privacy protections can differ. Contact us to ask about the processing locations and safeguards applicable to your information.

Where applicable law provides them, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, object to or seek restrictions on processing, withdraw consent for consent-based processing, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Not every right applies to every record or circumstance.

We use reasonable security measures to protect the data we hold. However, no system is completely secure.

The App is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Before creating an account, you are asked for your birth date to check whether you are at least 18. This calculation happens in your browser. The age screen does not send or save your birth date or calculated age. An 18+ confirmation is kept in browser local storage so this check does not repeat; an under-18 result blocks sign-up for the current browser tab session. Existing signed-in members are not shown the birth-date screen when browsing app pages. Account onboarding also records your age confirmation with your legal agreement. This is a self-reported age check, not independent identity or age verification.

We may update this policy as features and data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change, a policy update or continued use alone does not replace that requirement.
